Since 2002 The John Villiers Trust has provided almost $8 million of support for the wellbeing and development of communities, in regional, remote and rural areas of Queensland.
True to the memory and legacy of our founder, John Villiers, today our Trust keeps a sharp focus on supporting programs throughout country Queensland that positively transform communities.
You can help The John Villiers Trust to make a difference by making a tax-deductible donation today or by providing a bequest in your will.
Measuring Impact in the Community
Grants from The John Villiers Trust to support and assist Queensland communities are made through eligible Queensland charities. To help assess the best way to allocate its funds to make a real impact, The John Villiers Trust have adopted the London Benchmarking Group (LBG) framework.
LBG is the international standard for measuring and benchmarking community investments by organisations. It enables us to provide consistent and robust measurement of reporting of inputs, outputs and, most importantly, the impact achieved by Grant recipients. This in turn supports informed decision-making by our board of directors (about allocation of funds), our donors (about making donations) and our grant recipients (about how they can achieve the most impact through their projects).
