The Board of The John Villiers Trust (JVT) are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Directors and would like to acknowledge the contribution of Steve Muggleton who retired as a Director on 1 October 2019.
Persephone Lobb and Ashley Davis join the Board with effect from 1 October 2019 and bring a diverse skillset to assist in JVT’s strategic intent as it looks to grant over $1 million to children and youth in rural, regional and remote Queensland by the end of June 2020.

Persephone recently retired as Managing Director of NOUS, the successful creative, branding, marketing and digital agency she established in 1999. With over 30 years’ experience across all sectors both public and private in Queensland, she had a deep understanding of social, economic and geographic challenges. Persephone emigrated from the UK 30 years ago having developed her advertising and marketing career in the UK, Europe and USA.
Ashley is a Director with Shadford Financial Group and his expertise is in portfolio construction and developing highly effective wealth accumulation and retirement planning strategies for clients. He has been part of Shadforth’s Investment Committee for over 10 years and remains active in the ongoing strategic direction of the Group’s investment philosophy.
